I am a Native Hawaiian, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, who has had a wide array of training in various settings and with many different populations ~ in Hawai'i and a few states in the U.S. I am committed to helping people to better understand what is happening~ inside and out~ and how to have healthier relationships with themselves, and thus, others as well. My work focuses on identifying ineffective thoughts, behaviors, habits and beliefs and learning and implementing more effective tools and skills for healthier ways of being. We also focus on understanding where these came from and how to anticipate when they come up and/or "get in the way.". I believe in working together to reach your goals and taking a more collaborative approach to the therapeutic process. I am here to help empathetically and passionately guide you and support you through your active participation in the work you are here to do.
